| If you're reading this, it's probably a mistake, because I never update this thing.
So I guess while you're looking, you should check out my Virb page, or my YouTube page, or even my website (but it's really not that cool). And by the way, this is not me. Neither is this. Or this.

| I finally got my new TV...50 inches of DLP goodness.
so by the way, if you ever go to best buy or curcuit city or even worse, ultimate electronics, don't let them sell you a $70 video cable, it's just a piece of wire. Go to ebay like I did and buy the same wire (HDMI) for $9 shipping included.
Letting the beard grow out a little, it's getting kind of hard to comb it, maybe I should start using conditioner, hmm.

| Work is getting a lot more hectic, I have a lot more responsibility and it's demanding, but so far, so good. anyway...I'm in the process of buying a new tv, like a really big tv. I'm looking at DLP, they are sooo coool. but soooo expensive. I've always wanted the person on the screen to be life size, it feels more real that way. When I get my tv i'll have a big screen watching party...where we'll watch the big screen.
My rear view mirror fell off the other day, must of been because of the blazing Oklahoma sun. My car is getting to the age where everything starts falling apart, it's kind of depressing.
What's not depressing is my roomate Chad, he is the coolest guy in the world. We always watch Cash Cab together and get almost all the questions right. I think if they had tag team jeopardy, we could win it. you can watch a video I made of Chad here:

| Here's a story about a wedding...

It was a cool morning in April when I got a call from a stranger. Someone who knew my brother who had told them I was into video called me about shooting a wedding. Business was slowing down a little for Marcus Rhoads Productions, so I agreed to do the wedding.
Then she told me that it was a traditional Vietnamese wedding. I thought, it couldn't be that bad, it might even be a great cultural experience. Boy, oh boy, was I surprised when I got the itinerary. It was truly an all day event. 8am Tea ceremony at the brides house followed by pictures by the pond. 11am Catholic ceremony in OKC followed by more pictures at the church. 5pm reception at the Grand House, it lasted till about 11:30. The worst part is that the bride insisted on me videotaping the whole time. It's kind of hard to say no when your getting paid good money.
I got my buddy Kyle to run a second camera for me and he was pretty much miserable the whole time because he still had a bunch of work to do before church in the morning.
Sadly, we missed the best part of the reception. I talked to the maid of honor after the wedding, she said the Groom got so drunk, he threw up on the bride, shortly after the groom and the best man were taken away in ambulances because of alcohol poisening. And we missed it!

It wasn't completely horrible though, I did get paid, and I got some great shots of karaoke, you can watch some of it here:

Moral of the story: never do a Vietnamese wedding again...hmm...never do a wedding again. | | |
